Mulled Wine…Beer Steins…and a Christmas Carousel,
All at Vancouver’s German Christmas Market! Brand new location at Jack Poole Plaza, next to the Olympic Torch, right on Vancouver’s beautiful Coal Harbour Seawall. See the stunning view of the water and Coastal Mountains by day, and the Christmas and City Lights by night in the heart of downtown.
And yes..we all know how beautiful Vancouver is, but now we have the charming atmosphere of a taste of Europe too just in time for the holidays. Such an authenticity throughout the entire market as you’re taken on a European stroll for a few hours or so..

Tasty treats and German eats.. so much to choose from! Crepe Haus and Bavarian Beer and Pretzel Haus, but don’t forget the mulled wine, and most delicious hot chocolate to keep your hands warm while enjoying this Vancouver tradition. Keep in mind though that this is a ‘Cash Only’ place, even at admission!

The German Christmas Market has moved from its original location by the Queen Elizabeth Theatre on Hamilton Street to the newly ‘nestled in’ location just outside the New Convention Centre.
A touch of Europe in the heart of Vancouver, middle of the work day, what more does one need! I took a quick jaunt over on my lunch hour today and am looking very forward to going one evening with the christmas lights adding to the ambiance.
Of course… what German Market is ever complete without a traditional carousel! Tickets are $3.00 on top of admission, which is $8.00 / Adult, and $4.00 for 12 and under. However, if you would like a season pass it’s only $1.00 more. I say…go for the pass : )
Delicious Shortbread, Gingerbread and Rum-Balls of course..Artisans displaying their unique craft, beautiful glass ornaments and authentic German style decorations displayed in little wooden huts so reminiscent of true Germany.

And as they say… Gute Nacht and Auf Weidersehen xo
